Mel Anderson is a South Delta based representational artist that has come to art in general and painting specifically, quite recently. What began as a desire to learn how to draw, quickly morphed into an exploration of inks and charcoal, a bit of pastel, a few coloured pencils ...... and then paint. Mel is self taught for the most part, and paints exclusively with acrylics. His subject matter includes landscapes, architecture and cityscapes. He is currently a member of the South Delta Artists Guild and the Federation of Canadian Artists.
