Delta, British Columbia

Mel Anderson is a South Delta based representational artist whose primary choice of medium is acrylics. His landscapes are often painted en plein air and his subject matter includes landscapes, cityscapes, animals and various architectural structures.

"I have come to the stage where my focus has become light and shadow. Such that, there is light.... until my cat interrupts casting a large shadow over what I’m working on creating the darks I need for contrast."
