Victoria Klassen

New Westminster, British Columbia

Victoria Klassen is an abstract painter whose work explores expressive mark-making and bold shapes inspired by the world around her. Her canvases evoke a sense of freedom, energy, and a wildness that reveals the painting process and highlights the material’s qualities. Victoria’s style is grounded in gestural abstraction, characterized by dynamic marks and subtle textures. Large organic shapes serve as prominent compositional elements, adding structure to the surface.

Victoria works out of her studio in Vancouver, Canada. She attended Emily Carr College of Art & Design and Langara Fine Art program.
It is through abstraction that I can truly express my affinity with nature.
