Nola received her Ontario College of Art AOCA in 1974. When in the 90s she discovered teaching others taught her more she earned her Adult Education Teaching Certification. Her practical classes encourage artists of all skill levels to make their pictures better. “Just Horses” is an example, a practical guide to this complex subject. The simple black & White lino block images of "ABC Muskoka" encourage young readers to connect words and pictures. Shes' a member of the International Watercolour Society, the Colored Pencil Society of America and a regular at the Heliconian Club's Monday Figure Drawing Studio. Her works are for those seeking smaller representational works that challenge tradition.
