Ducks are often underrated as farm guards. While visiting a farm in Elora Ontario I was followed and supervised by a Muscovy security duck. named "His Sneerfulness" He was very curious perhaps suspicious of the artist on a sketching mission. He stomped after me, before me, around me. Posing? No. Supervising? Yes.
His very red textured face and blue & white eye contrasted with a very white feathered body challenged. Could I actually capture all that texture? All that contrast? Challenge accepted.
