Victoria, British Columbia

Cory is a self-taught artist working primarily with acrylics, and his paintings are inspired by years of urban adventuring, photography and overseas travel. His style uses exaggerated perspectives, layers of colour, and dynamic viewpoints to create something he calls Urban Escapism. Today, Cory paints out of his studio in Victoria BC where he finds endless inspiration in the historic homes, gritty alleyways, and not-so-wild wildlife that combine to make the city such a unique place to live.
