Samantha Williams-Chapelsky
St. Albert, Alberta
Samantha’s work interprets landscape with color, gestures, and texture using acrylic and oil paints to capture patterns of meaning and historical significance. She investigates the parallels between grassland crops to textile patterns, conversational meaning and emotion within a skyline, and spirituality within a landscape. She is a 2009 graduate of the University of Alberta’s Bachelor of Fine Arts program majoring in Painting and Art history and continues her career as a full time professional artist.
