Tree peonies are remarkable with their huge delicate flowers standing aloft on sturdy branches. Usually they are white, flashy pink the dramatic showstopping stars in the spring garden. They command you to see, look, stop and admire.
An uncommon one with yellow flowers has its red confined to the center. It's catching the light of a brilliant spring morning sun. The light is caught on rolling edges, bleeding out almost all of that beautiful yellow. Then captured , it reflects through the glowing petals as it reveals the hidden hints of red.
