Muskoka's textured details have inspired me since childhood. Organic textures contrast with the man made. Subtle colours both define and hide.
Here those textures, colours lead past a fallen log, a natural rock stone man guarding from the log's stump's new purpose as a plinth and up to the veranda hidden from boaters' prying eyes by overhanging hemlocks.
