About the Artwork

There's a moment on the trail towards Cameron Lake when the forest opens and the whole lake appears. Two old-growth trees stand like guardians on either side of the path, and beyond them the water glows turquoise in the light. You can almost feel the cool air, hear the stillness, and smell the moss underfoot. This is the place you go when you need to slow down.
