There are some dogs who become more than pets — they become family, companions, and a little piece of home.
Suki was one of those dogs. This portrait was created to capture her happy, gentle but HUGE spirit and the personality that made her so deeply loved. Through pastel, I wanted to preserve not only how she looked, but that feeling of looking into the eyes of a beloved companion and instantly knowing them.
Pet portraits are about so much more than getting the details right. They’re about capturing the little expressions, the familiar eyes, and the personality that made that animal uniquely yours.
I create custom pet & animal portraits in pastel, working from your favourite photographs to create a lasting keepsake of a beloved companion. 🐾
