Extreme weather has become the global norm. As a result there has been a need for vigorous scientific observation and study.
Due to the Kenney Dam, the Nechako River is a "diminished" river. At high release, its various ecosystems are brimming with life.
To emphasize the current contrasts in our river and our weather, I have used more graphic elements to represent the dam as well as a major rainstorm.
Sadly we now seem to be facing 'too much' or 'too little', with the resulting floods or droughts and other disasters that are occurring.
