About the Artwork
My 'Drowned Aspens' series is inspired by a flooded lake in Alberta. This perspective centers on the striking contrasts of the dark, eye-shaped lenticels and charcoal lines which tell the tales of seasons past, with only a hint of the golden canopy above.
