About the Artwork
This scene from Botanical Beach along the Juan de Fuca Trail on Vancouver Island, BC, was created using a liquid oil reactive paint which produces a number of different effects such as lacquered, marbled, hammered or honeycombed. Together these effects result in a unique textured scene with an almost 3-dimensional appearance.
