OTTAWA SATURDAY MORNING is my story. I believe that Ottawa’s neighbourhoods are going to vanish into concrete and asphalt. It’s been progressing since COVID, a new transportation system and digital dependency. In my heart, I felt I had to record the ambiance, capture the character of our Nation’s capital in bright colours with lots of detail, peppered with a sense of humour. I paint joy. The detail of the shops and people tell their story, their community, joining in on the glories of Saturday morning's activities in downtown Ottawa.
