About the Artwork

A foxglove stands tall,
a robust burst of purple bells and
fond memories of little fingers
prodding a waterfall of blooms - fairy hats.
A beacon soft and inviting.

He greets the hard-working bee.
Her legs heavy with pollen as she hovers and
sleepily swoops between blooms.
Tiny feet creep along the petals,
a brief refuge before beginning again.
Her low hum fills the quiet,
a comforting drone in the peak of summer.

This brief exchange of giving and taking,
a demonstration of harmony,
a moment where both thrive
connected to the quiet pulse of life.
