About the Artwork

Bright sun is a rare guest in Vancouver in winter. I was strolling along the waterfront when the sunset rays pierced the gray sky and flooded the bridge, the bay, and the boats with orange light. The fleeting state was swift. I tried to capture its essence. This warmth amidst the winter numbness. Painted “En Pleinair"
