Heritage Harbour, Vancouver.
A day when heavy leaden clouds were reflected in the thick, cold water of a deep black-blue, I was painting the dancing reflections of masts, dissolving into that inky darkness...
Suddenly, a musician stepped onto the dock and sat at a piano that stood on the swaying planks of the pier, rocking with the waves.
The piano’s music, the creaking of ropes, cries of seagulls, and the splash of waves blended together into an autumn symphony of Heritage Harbour.
