Scotch Pond, Richmond, Vancouver — a historic lagoon on the western shore near the fishing village of Steveston. With its traditional boats reflected in calm waters, this picturesque spot has long inspired Vancouver artists for its peaceful beauty. I couldn't resist the chance to capture my own interpretation of this iconic scene. Painted en plein air in the fall of 2024, the piece explores the subtle play of light and the rich autumn hues.
