About the Artwork

We are given so many visual gifts living by the Strait of Georgia. This evening was one of those times when the colour of the sunset and the stillness of the dusk resulted in a feeling of being one with the environment. It is on these occasions that I am so grateful for the opportunity to experience this part of the world, on a daily basis and for my ability to paint it!

"“ Using acrylic paint, collage, and mark-making tools, my semi- abstract, expressionist paintings aim to convey the energy and soul of the image.
I measure success of the work by engaging viewers, who are compelled to spend time with my work and to ask questions. I hope the gratitude I feel for being able to create, comes through in the paintings.
Over time, my artistic process has evolved as I experiment with “"
