Downtown Ottawa. Now looks completely different than it did 2 years ago. I had to record this in bright colours with lots of detail and tell a story. A story of joy and happiness that our Nation's Capital has been sharing with everyone for many years.

Catherine Willis-O'Connor
Almonte, Ontario
Since 1988, Catherine has sold and exhibited her colourful, detailed genre-style paintings. Now living in Almonte, Ontario, Catherine is a former student of the Ottawa School of Art. She created her style by studying Canadian folk artists: Maud Lewis and Joe Norris of Nova Scotia, William Kurelek, and E.J. Hughes.
