When you sit and contemplate near a forest on the west coast shorelines of Canada, you may begin to notice things that perhaps are often taken for granted. For instance, the crisp salt sprayed air, as the dappled sunlight dances amongst the glittering leafy canopy of the forest. The sky is more vibrant with an array of iridescent clouds. These are the things that remind us of how fortunate we are to experience the beauty of that nature which abounds before us. I chose to paint such vibrant colours because that's what I saw and felt. Always respect the lands.
