This particular piece was inspired by the native wetlands of B.C. The estuaries and their flora/fauna, are particularly special to me. I paint from my memories of what our lands use to look like. However due to climate change, many of those images have drastically altered. I hope to capture as much of those details from my past, before it's too late. I am fortunate to still appreciate the fact that we can boast singing out the words 'true North strong and free'. I hope that everyone does their part by respecting the Lands made for you & me.
