A Bird's Eye View
“A Birds Eye View” is one of eleven paintings from my “Connection” series. It is time to re-connect and re-evaluate our lives in today's world. “A Bird's Eye View” reflects a view of city living from the 17th floor of a high-rise. This perspective often flattens, isolates, and impersonalizes our connection to people in our environment.

My art is influenced by the small communities I have lived in over the years. My collage and abstract landscape paintings have multilayers of rich texture and bold colors that reference northern BC. I believe an artist can convey mood, feeling and emotions without using symbolism or realism.
