“Urban Sprawl” is one of 11 paintings in my “Connection” series. People who work from home re-evaluated their living environment and realized that working from home meant they could actually work from anywhere. This resulted in many people selling their homes in the city and moving to smaller communities. Our work environment is now connected to our living environment.

My art is influenced by the small communities I have lived in over the years. My collage and abstract landscape paintings have multilayers of rich texture and bold colors that reference northern BC. I believe an artist can convey mood, feeling and emotions without using symbolism or realism.
