About the Artwork
This oil painting was created en"plein air"on the shoulders of a quiet gravel road. I felt such a sense of peace as I was wrapped up in the warmth of the fall colours, while enjoying the quiet solitude. The beauty of this scene captured my attention in what felt like a chance to "step back in time" near this tiny village on the prairies of Alberta.
