Gwen Day, was born and raised in Alberta. Since early childhood Gwen has been deeply connected to both an outdoor life and creating art. She currently resides with her husband on his third generation family farm north of Calgary, AB. She's an avid plein air painter and hiker.

Her work is known for its strong value contrasts and vibrant colours. Painting landscapes in impressionistic style.

She is a juried exhibition member of Federation of Canadian Artists. Her work has been collected by both individual and corporate clients nationally and internationally.
