On the Edge of My Seat
Not For Sale
Ask my husband, if you put me in front of a horror film, most of my time is spent with my face buried in my hands providing a squeaky running commentary of how everything the actors are doing is a bad idea.
This fun self-portrait is inspired by those (thankfully rare) occasions. I decided to push myself in this piece by working with the natural colouring of the canvas behind the art. Like my eyes peeking through my sweaty fingers, all of the lines in this piece are actually parts of the plain canvas poking though.
