Lions, and cats in general, spend almost 80 percent of their time sleeping, lolling, resting and snoozing. The "King of the Jungle" is no exception.
To break the stereotype of the regal lion surveying his domain, I decided to portray this fellow in his most relaxed and enjoyably playful circumstance – in the midst of rolling from one side to the other.
This sculpture is cast bronze with an edition of 20.
