Western Canadian railways carry miles of graffiti-painted grain cars from the prairies to the west coast. When I saw this one in the North Vancouver terminals the title for a painting became evident – ‘Track Stars’ was painted right on it. I altered the graffiti colours from greys to a bright purple and green outline, and intensified the overall rust to give it more life.
