About the Artwork
My reference for this painting was a restored silver/grey 1946 Chevy that I saw at a show-n-shine a few years ago. With one of the side engine hoods raised, the owner was displaying its clean engine. To me, however, it said “Engine Trouble”. I changed and weathered the paint’s colour and removed parts of the grille to suit my idea of an aged truck under repair.
