About the Artwork
Folded from an uncut sheet of kozo paper, this twist-tile tessellation explores six-fold symmetry of a flower pattern. As I designed and folded this piece, I pondered societal standards of masculinity. From my experience, all babies love flowers, so why are boys taught that flowers are for girls?
