This beautiful Horned Owl was resting at my neighbours farm early one frosty morning. Active all night long, it seemed unaware of the early morning chores going on around it. It must have known that the farmers were friendly because it slept so peacefully while we were busy around it. The colors and intricacy of its feathers were so beautiful highlighted by the early sunrise with the dark backdrop of the scale house behind it.
