I had the pleasure of seeing this eagle while on a kayaking trip up Surge Narrows. He sat perched upon an old tree hanging out over the ocean, surveying the sea. I wanted to capture the sight full of its textures and colours, and have the viewer feel as though they were there with me almost able to smell and feel the sea themselves while beholding the beauty of this majestic bird.
