About the Artwork
I am always impressed with the confidence and agility of Mountain goats. I wanted to use strong contrast to show light and form in this piece to help accentuate and personify the qualities of confidence and authority. I used the title "The old Nanny" to be at play with the pose showing her over looking the herd just as a human nanny would.
