About the Artwork
This is a painting of a spot down the road from my farm. There is a little pond behind these trees that often is full of ducks and frequented by deer, moose, and elk. I wanted it to be a painting that was full of light and energy. I wanted there to be a feeling of that that is normally hidden behind the cloak of the leaves shining through like a treasure form within.
