About the Artwork
An octopus in bloom: The octopus merges into the mesmerizing floral landscape, as if to suggest the two are one. At what point does the octopus begin, and the flowers end? I studied these magical creatures while at university, and I've always admired the incredible colour-shifting abilities of the octopus. The phenomenon is hypnotically captivating.
