Climate change is causing the Bow Glacier to melt and recede at an increasing rate. The towns and cities downstream must work harder to conserve water as there are limited sources available once the glacier disappears.
Climate change is also affecting our mountains as the earlier and more rapid spring melt, combined with heavier spring rains cause flooding in the valleys, with the enormous flooding of 2013 a harbinger of things to come.
