For a long time, we thought that we were an intrinsic part of nature but, during the Industrial Revolution, we decided that we could master it and that it had to obey us. We believed it for a few decades and some are still thinking that we are above Nature.
That is not the case. We have to realize that, in order to survive, we have to be one with nature. That what is meant in this artwork: we are nature and nature is us. And we can’t flourish without this realization.
