About the Artwork

Clairissa was our first of four beloved Maine Coon cats from the same parents but subsequent litters. The Maine Coon is one of the oldest natural breeds in North America originating in the U.S. state of Maine, where it is the official state cat. The Maine Coon is a large and social cat, commonly referred to as "the gentle giant." As the eldest, Clairissa always kept a close eye on her younger siblings, ensuring these beautiful gentle giants followed the rules of the house.
