About the Artwork

The West Coast of Vancouver Island has been the focus of this series and one can be assured the mood, light and dynamics of the area will not be constant and will not disappoint. That was on my mind when I created this painting. I left it somewhat unresolved on purpose, in an effort to let the painting “have its say”! I think it captured the emotion of the place very well.
