About the Artwork
Balmoral Hotel is a historic building along East Hastings. Unfortunately it is to be demolished due to life and fire safety concerns. The decay of the building due to decades of underinvestment and mismanagement is considered irreversible. The Balmoral Hotel site may be redeveloped to affordable housing.
