About the Artwork

The artwork is a painting depicting five Black Guillemot with distinctive white patches on their wings and bright orange feet. They are positioned on what looks like a rocky terrain with patches of yellow-green moss or lichen. The birds are engaging with each other, with some of their beaks open, as if in conversation or calling out. The rocks are textured with shades of gray, and the green accents add a sense of vibrancy and natural setting to the scene. The composition captures a lively and dynamic moment within this group of birds.
