When I lived in Texas, these Carolina Anoles would perch in the pine outside our window, but 3 times a year, one would make it into the house. They would freeze in a pose, before they dashed off. I had a collection of sketches, but turning the Anole into an etching was a challenge. Every time I see this etching, I recall our reluctant house guests.
