A 3 dimensional painting in Alcohol Ink is a challenge that few can accomplish. This piece was inspired by my fear that the haphazard electrical wiring I witnessed while traveling in India, might cause FIRE. I chose to abate my fears by finding the beauty in the chaos. I welcomed the challenge because any other option was frightening. Art is born from strange circumstances. But Art Connects Us. This painting is of great comfort to me. Not one flame was ignited due to the crazy electrical wiring, but a particular flame was ignited in my heart. I am grateful that I painted this without incendiary consequences.
