“Spring Storm” is about being outside on a warm sunny day checking the cows at calving time. The storm rolled in, threatening the peaceful quality of the day giving, the artist in me a chance to witness a display of light on the trees against the backdrop of the dark stormy sky like none other.

Pat Gauthier
Fort St. James, British Columbia
Pat Gauthier loves to paint the natural world, paints what she sees. Landscapes beckon, and portraits challenge, animals are work, and still-life doesn't usually make it on the canvas. Loves flowers but in the garden, abstracts are fun doodles. Stays away from political stuff, architecture is to admired.
