Pat Gauthier is an artist that lives in Fort St James, BC
She is a typical artist that needs to do art, somewhat driven by the call. Paints in Acrylic, Oil, watercolour, and some pastel. Is interested in many genres, finding the beauty and uniqueness in her subjects. Was raised on a farm and later became a rancher which gave her an opportunity to capture the animals that surrounded her, horses and cattle as well as the natural world. She plein air paints on her travels, seeking out new areas in BC.
Winter finds her inside her studio and teaching locally has fulfilled her need to share. She takes workshops to strengthen her skill, a forever student.
