About the Artwork
A Saturday sliding into September at the Argenta Fall Fair. I must give a nod to master face painter Yvonne Boyd for her monster face design; and of course to Kirin who is entirely responsible for the silly faces. I had nothing to do with it. Honest.

Oiseau lives and paints in the mountains of British Columbia, Canada. While she focuses primarily on portraiture and the figure, plein air landscape painting is also an important part of her practice and inspiration.
