About the Artwork

“Frozen Momentum” captures the paradox of movement held still—a moment of energy suspended in time. Layers of icy blues, stark whites, and deep blacks create a sense of frozen depth, while angular forms and gestural marks suggest a force pushing forward, paused mid-stride. A flash of rust red breaks through the cool palette, like a spark preserved beneath ice. For me, Frozen Momentum is about those thresholds in life when everything feels charged and in motion, yet we’re asked to pause—to hold, to wait, to gather strength. It speaks to resilience and to the beauty that emerges when motion and stillness meet.
