While exploring the back-country along Lake Revelstoke in beautiful British Columbia, I discovered this amazing scene off a dirt road leading to the lake. When I stepped out of the vehicle to get a better look, I noticed large fresh footprints on the road from a grizzly bear.
I hope this painting contains the truly remarkable experience of the unique wilderness of BC in its wide open spaces, isolation and the wonder of possible wild-life presence.
